2018 has been a very exciting year for us and it just keeps getting better! We have a lot of awesome things in the works, so why not make the time in between now and then to answer some burning questions? You asked, and we answered!
What was your inspiration behind this brand?
When Liang, one of our founders, moved to the U.S. in 2011, he learned that turquoise was popular here, but often made into Native American-inspired designs. Turquoise is a stone that is often used in Chinese culture, which inspired Liang to design a few pieces of jewelry that incorporated modern Chinese elements in them. The pieces were simple, modern and minimalistic-- making them different from what everyone had seen. When Liang met Chao Song, who was operating his own silver business at the time, they realized that they both had the same set of values and the drive to promote traditional Chinese silver making skills. Since then, we have merged our business together and expanded our product line. Our mission is to incorporate Chinese elements into our designs and create a line that shares the authenticity and inspiration of oriental craft from old to new.
What is your creative process like?
Liang loves visiting museums and collecting any ideas that can be used in his designs. A lot of Liang's designs come from a concept, for instance, the Chinese philosophy of Yinyang. When a design pops into his head, he will write it down and draw it for reference later.

I love all your products! What pieces will you be releasing in the near future?
Yes! We are always creating and adding new pieces to our webstore, but we have a summer collection in the works right now. Our summer collection will be more colorful and will have more gemstones! This collection will bring more vibrancy to our catalog which will be refreshing. You will see abalone shells, as well as other shells containing dark hues, bright blues and vibrant pinks. Of course we will create pieces that have turquoise, citrine, amethyst and more!
The druzy pieces are my absolute favorite. Will we see more of them?
For sure. Along with our summer collection, we are creating a druzy line. Our customers have responded really well to our druzy rings and earrings, so we want to incorporate that more. You will be seeing more rings and bracelets.
How often do you do campaigns such as giveaways on social media?
We try to engage with our followers and customers as much as possible. Generally speaking, we do giveaway campaigns once a month. We have also recent launched an ambassador program that anyone can apply to! We love interacting with our customers and want to do it any moment we can.
