We only use precious metals with intrinsic value for our jewelry:
14K Gold Over Sterling Silver
Gold Filled
Sterling Silver
What materials do you avoid?
We only use the above precious metals and avoid the following commonly used metals in jewelry:
Gold-Plated over alloy – A thin gold-layer electroplated over a cheaper base metal, used in “fake” or “costume jewelry”
Silver-Plated over alloy – A thin silver-layer electroplated over a cheaper base metal, used in “fake” or “costume jewelry”
Nickel – Used as a base metal or as a layer to brighten up plating on top. Unfortunately, Nickel is known to cause skin reactions in a significant portion of the population
So… there’s no nickel?
NO NICKEL. We do not use any nickel in any of our jewelry. All our pieces are safe to wear for sensitive skin.
Will my jewelry tarnish?
Natural, precious metals can tarnish over time. Our materials are high-quality and we do everything possible to ensure the longevity of our jewelry (e.g., plating all our Sterling-Silver with Rhodium)
In the rare instance that your piece tarnishes, it can usually be brought back to shine with a polishing cloth. If you need our assistance in bringing it back to perfect – just sent it back and we’ll fix it up or replace it.
